Whogas Announces Release Date for Debut Game: Frothy Bird
Fort Worth, Texas (September 27, 2015) Up and coming indie game studio, Whogas, has announced that their debut title, Frothy Bird, will be available in the Windows Store for phones and PC on Tuesday, September 29. Frothy Bird was initially hatched during the FlappyJam game jam of 2014 and has been turned into a full-length action arcade game. Using simple one-touch controls, players will have to deftly change Frothy Bird’s color from black to white and white to black in order to eat the continuous onslaught of pellets!
This is no Flappy Bird knock-off! Although many of Frothy Bird’s levels are difficult, each series of challenges has been carefully authored to keep players on their toes and to keep them wondering what in the world could happen next. Frothy Bird is also one of the rare arcade-style games that you can actually finish.
Comprised of 50 levels of palm-sweating fun, Frothy Bird will entice players to keep hitting “Retry” until they can finally get through each challenge. Battling all the way to the end will require hardcore skill and practice, but making it through will be a real brag-worthy accomplishment.
To show off a few of Frothy Bird’s levels and to give an idea of the retro-styled graphics and sound, Whogas has released this trailer. Whogas is looking forward to getting fan and critic reactions to the epic Frothy Bird challenge, so dig into the free download this Tuesday!
